- Communes with trees, visionaries and people who love to personally grow. Married since 1979 (my better half) with 2 grown (futurist) children. Founder of the Maverick Center LLC with two guidatories, one in Austin and one about to open in Seattle. I am a design a living specialist. Design a Maverick living is the process of creating, changing or building ways of making money that closely aligns with the owner's value system and integrates their multiple ideas, goals, and reasons for living. It is a paradigm shift developed to take traditional business to the next logical level.The mavericks we work with want their work to be more meaningful, more useful to the community in which they reside, and with a greater understanding of the bigger picture. Our process is multi career and muti model oriented. I developed the proprietary ThinkMaverick program that prepares individuals for making a living that will likely include some or all of these: the Corporate Model (working for someone else), the Entrepreneurial Model (traditional American Dream), the Non Profit Model, the proprietary Self-Actualization Business Model (reaching for one's full potential while balancing the real you in the real world) and the Visionary Model (the HOW TO steps so the everyday person can make their difference).
In the next ten years, I will be putting Maverick Design your life centers in places like resorts, retirement homes, children's ranches, third world villages, and schools all around the world.
I collect rocks with holes in them and love walking sticks. What makes me 'zone' is a deep conversation. Happiness is belly-laughing and presencing.
